Bali-Teak-Furniture-Maker is a new design concept that was founded by Kyle Barnett whilst studying architecture at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, 2004. He later brought the concept back to his native Canada where the initial prototypes were completed in 2006 and endured vigorous product testing to determine the best possible materials for construction.

2008 - Production initiated from the back of a surfboard manufacturing warehouse in New Zealand and marketing continued for the next three years in some of the world’s harshest climates. The first Bali-Teak-Furniture-Maker design, the Dreamweaver Hammock Set, was rigorously tested with extreme U.V. rays and torrential downpours. As testament to the quality of our design and materials those hammocks still receive great customer reviews today.

2011 - Bali-Teak-Furniture-Maker moved its headquarters to Bali, Indonesia and further improved their design by integrating teak construction facilities in Central Java, Indonesia where the world’s finest teak plantations exist.

2015 - Bali-Teak-Furniture-Maker incorporated another astounding product the double and single size Skyweaver Air Chair. This suspended design offers the same great comfort, style and durability as its predecessor, although in the shape of a reclining, suspended chair.

2017 - Bali-Teak-Furniture-Maker joined the global retail markets in the U.S.A., Canada and Australia. Further product development introduced the Kono XL and Kono Deluxe Lounger along with the Lanai Picnic Table series.

2018 - Bali-Teak-Furniture-Maker further expands sales into Europe and adds to its product line with mixed mediums merging steel and teak with the flexible rocking Santai Collection. The standard Santai with powder coat protection and the Executive Santai fashioned with Stainless Steel.

With premium, solid recycled teak construction and natural-low maintenance finishing, each of Bali-Teak-Furniture-Maker's unique products are suitable for all environments. Adequately robust to handle any outdoor extreme conditions, yet sophisticated so they may enhance any indoor space.
